Having stopped off briefly for a quick caña in the Marbella branch, we decided to try out the PBanus one for dinner before a concert at Marbella Arena (easy 7mins walk away).
The doorman warmly welcomed us and immediately advised his colleagues via ear piece that we were on the way in to the terrace at the rear of the premises. Made us feel immediately special.
The terrace area is very pretty and private, with lots of bushes and comfortable seating. The interior design of the indoor part is exceptional – modern and spacious. Perfect for larger groups or cooler nights.
The Yum: The menu is a combo of Mexican and Moroccan treats. We shared a yummy beetroot hummus which was accompanied by a trendy paper bag of warm pitta bread. Then we opted for a Turkish Feta/Mozzarella Pida and Chicken Pastela. The pastela is a generous size and absolutely chocka with meat and pistachios – the flavours were divine. We didn’t have space or time for dessert this time.
The Fizz: We were completely seduced by the margaritas – one was ordered more spicy than the other, served stylishly and delicious. Then we opted for another cocktail. We finished up with two shots of gold tequila – served properly with orange and cinnamon (highly highly recommended)
The Rest: We were taken care of by Nestor. Multilingual, calm, super-professional and attentive are just some of the words to describe him. He knows the menu and drinks list inside out and had just the right amount of time for us to continue with our ‘special treatment’ experience. We had SUCH a nice evening and will definitely return. Maybe we’ll try the Marbella one to compare. No negatives at all
