Not to be missed during a visit to Sanlucar, we always sit inside to make the most of the buzzy atmosphere and fab food. You approach the self service counter (make sure you have had a good look at the boards and counters first as the choice is immense). Order and they will call you to collect or you wait. We were sat opposite so it was really easy.
The Yum: they are famous for their Sanlucar gambas and lots of locals were ordering them. We opted for a tapa of freshly cooked tortillitas de cameron – an absolute definite and not to be missed. Followed by whole dressed crab shell and red pepper salad. Go hungry and enjoy more – best when shared.
The Fizz: We started with crisp cool beer before moving on to the obligatory Manzanilla sherry. Absolutely perfect.
The Rest: Nothing else to say. It’s a must for seafood and tapas. If you prefer waiter service then ask for a table outside. It gets packed and noisy but it’s a definite favourite. No reservations.
